Willy-Nilly End of April

A bunch of locals for the end of April. A couple migrants were heard but never seen too well. Seems like everything around today were locals, but there have to still be some migrants around.

Like the one Gray Catbird we got early on.

A bit earlier, we had a recaptured Northern Cardinal.

Things grew quiet rather quickly after that until we started catching a Northern Parula. This was the same female we caught 3 times last weekend.

Robin and Micheal returned this week and he got to release her back toward the nest.

We were prepared to call it a day and suddenly began to catch Tufted Titmice. Two newly fledged chicks we first. They are fiesty!

Then we ended up with an adult as she was busy gathering food, too.

We will have a Saturday banding a few Purple Martins in Clermont next Saturday and then retun Sunday to the main site.
